The Urban Village Resort provides an invigorating escape from urban pressures. With a focus on diverse resort offerings, the resort is designed to immerse guests in a serene environment featuring a winding garden path and captivating views of the sea and lagoon.
Strategies
- Integrating existing and new development
By assessing the current condition of the development on site, enCity’s design leverages and incorporates existing and functioning resort facilities into the new proposed development of villas, mid-rise and high-rise hotels, tourist apartments, beach clubs, and other amenities. The proposal aims to ensure high feasibility and efficient phasing.
- Emphasise and develop the site’s special landscape attributes
The resort’s main road serves as a central axis, dividing the development into distinct zones. The southern section, nearest to the ocean, is dedicated to low-rise resort villas and amenities. Conversely, the northern part accommodates taller buildings that maximise views of both the lagoon and the sea, ensuring an unobstructed ocean panorama for the villas.
- Gray infrastructure becomes green infrastructure
Gray infrastructure, such as main roads and corridors function as lush and winding green pathways, enhances the resort atmosphere and promotes outdoor activities throughout the development. Our design features a green spine interwoven with connectors, creating a seamless flow from the sea to the river, complemented by strollways on both sides. Each resort villa is fully provided with ample greenery, with unobstructed sea views from the backyard.
