At Ashui Awards 2025, the title “Future Project of the Year” was awarded to Red River Dragon Park (Dragon Park by the Red River), a project by enCity and SIURA Studio.
The project was born from the aspiration to create a new “green heart” for Hanoi, a place where modern urban life does not stand in opposition to nature, but instead harmonizes with riverine landscapes and the depth of a thousand-year cultural heritage. Situated along an expansive stretch of the Red River, Dragon Park seeks to revive long-neglected riverfront areas, transforming them into distinctive public spaces that foster community connection and introduce new urban experiences.
With a flexible design approach, the park is conceived as a living ecosystem capable of adapting to the natural rhythms and changing conditions of the Red River, while accommodating the everyday, cultural, and recreational needs of residents. Dragon Park is not merely a landscape project, but a long-term vision for sustainable urban development, one in which nature, people, and history coexist within a cohesive and harmonious structure.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Arch. Duong Vuong, representative of enCity, shared:
“We are deeply honored that the project’s vision for a future city has resonated with the Jury Panel and the voting community. For the enCity – SIURA Studio consortium, planning is not simply about numbers or technical solutions, but about the aspiration to create a happy and sustainable living environment for future generations. This award demonstrates that when creative minds share a common vision, we can truly generate enduring and meaningful values for our cities.”
Ashui Awards 2025 marks the 14th edition of the Ashui Awards system, often regarded as the “Oscars of Vietnam’s Architecture and Construction industry.” The awards honor outstanding works and exemplary contributions within the architecture and built environment fields. The Jury Panel comprises leading experts, architects, urban planners, engineers, and researchers with extensive experience, strong professional reputations, and significant influence in the industry. Projects are evaluated based on professional merit, long-term vision, social value, and contributions to sustainable development, ensuring the objectivity, independence, and professional integrity of the awards.
Being recognized at Ashui Awards 2025 is a great honor for enCity and serves as a strong motivation for us to continue pursuing more innovative and responsible approaches in urban planning and design.
