Hong Kong, April 4th

Being an international award-winning consulting firm headquartered in Singapore with offices in Vietnam and Indonesia, enCity is honoured to be invited to present at the workshop with Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP). In Vietnam, enCity has been contributing enormously to the planning & design field and is proud to be an organisation member of Vietnam Urban Development Planning Association (VUDPA). Both enCity and VUPDA have been directly involved in the most strategic projects in the region with different roles as a consultant, an advisor, a reviewer, and/or a judge. Some of these commendable projects are: the 200-km2 Innovation District in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), HCMC Masterplan to 2040, Tay Ninh Provincial Plan to 2030, the Regional Plan to 2030 for the Northern Region which comprises 14 provinces.

At the workshop, Deputy CEO of enCity, Ms. Trang Vuong, has presented on the subtheme of “Healthy and Active City” (in the broader theme of Smart and Sustainable Development) with case studies from planned and implemented projects on multiple levels, ranging from city to community interventions.

Later, we joined the webinar with the Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) and the City Planning Institute of Japan (CPIJ) from the Hong Kong office to follow up with another topic of the above theme: Urban Planning for the Aging Population.
