Connectivity, amenities and housing.

The core area of the industrial park is encircled by 4 express ways, as well as an MRT line that connects through the middle. The plan catered for comprehensive environmental improvement of the primary water feature, Jinji Lake; with detailed urban design and landscape design as the guidance of development. Following the ‘Singapore Model’, neighbourhood units were designed with service radius of 1 kilometer, which means 6,000-8,000 unites housing 20,000 to 30,000 people are given access to, healthcare, education and commercial services.

Quality living environment and economic potential

The industry also created 480,000 (as of 2015) through immaculate manufacturing infrastructure, that also catered for future growth provision through reserve sites along the expressways. There was also provision for major open space and green infrastructure around the lakes that creates a desirable and healthy living environment.

The phasing and implementation of the project strategies were integral to its success. Through rolling development plans, the industrial development was the driving force for other ongoing urban construction.

* The Master plan was completed by enCity founders prior to enCity
